Make Ireland Sustainable for All

Make Ireland Sustainable for All aims to work with young people, local communities and government to build awareness and mobilise action on the Sustainable Development Goals

Make Ireland Sustainable for All is part of the EU–funded project ‘Make Europe Sustainable For All’, a three-year project aiming to raise awareness and encourage action to be taken on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The project works with youth, community groups, universities and local government to raise awareness of and encourage action to be taken on the UN Sustainable Development Goals by

  • Engaging in dialogue with the Government
  • Promoting the adoption of the SDGs by local community Public Participation Networks (PPNs) and Local Government.
  • Building awareness and action among the Irish Public and specific target groups on the SDGs through:
  • Working with Coalition 2030, the Irish network of NGOs, trade unions and interest groups working towards Agenda 2030

There are a wide range of activities and supports to engage in with SDGsforall. You could also use the resources on SDGsforall (http://sdgsforall.ie/fightinequalities/) to get students involved in activism activities aimed at sustainable development
